After undergoing the biggest change in my life this past week, I am finally all settled in my new student accommodation at Nottingham Trent University! Late night club events and early morning starts for induction week have accumulated into a rather unimaginable case of the dreaded 'Freshers Flu', so I am writing this post feeling like death warmed up!
Moving from the small town of Wigan, Greater Manchester to the bustling city of Nottingham provided me with a drastic change in scenery, one of which being the Nottingham Fashion Scene. As part of a group task for my course 'Fashion communication and promotion' we were set the challenge of going into the city centre and finding interesting street style that we, as a group, found exciting and new.
These are just a small sample of the images taken, I also included some urban images of architecture that I found whilst exploring, the artistic aspect to the street style portraiture found on the red building and the decayed nature of the door masked as a tree enhanced the cultural vibe of the city for me along with the retro outfits photographed above.
